Educational community holds a day of reflection in support of the right to life from the moment of conception

On the Feast of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, our school held a pastoral day of reflection focused on the defense and value of life from the moment of conception.

As part of the school’s educational program, the Academic Department and the Pastoral Department organized a significant event dedicated to the protection of the unborn child, in which students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade participated.

The event took place in the Virtudes space, where each class reflected on the importance of life, especially during the first month of pregnancy. As a result of this work, the students came up with a representative phrase that captures their reflections and lessons learned.

Each class appointed a representative whose task was to convey their message on the “Tree of Life,” a symbol that brought together the various reflections of the school community, highlighting their collective commitment to respecting and caring for life.

For Liceo Bicentenario, this activity reinforces our mission to educate individuals who are committed to protecting the youngest and most vulnerable members of society, promoting fundamental values such as respect, empathy, and human dignity from an early age.
