Technical and Pedagogical Unit Team
Our Pedagogical Technical Unit (UTP) has multiple functions, with its primary objective being to ensure the quality of the teaching-learning process and improve educational outcomes.Â
The UTP Team, led by the UTP Director, focuses on the planning, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of curricular activities, as well as on the professional development of teachers.Â
Planning and coordination:
- Development and updating of the facility's activity plan.
- Coordination of curricular activities, including lesson plans, guidelines, and assessments.
- Organization and supervision of workshops and elective activities.
- Planning and organizing the academic and instructional activities for the school year.
Monitoring and evaluation:
- Monitoring compliance with curricula and programs.
- Classroom observation and support to ensure the curriculum is being implemented.
- Oversight of the academic work of department chairs.
- Oversight of the Teaching-Learning Process.
- Oversee the faculty evaluation process.
Teacher professional development:
- Promote professional development for teachers in the use of teaching strategies and educational resources.
- Contribute to teachers' professional development by assisting with lesson planning and delivery.
- Manage educational innovation projects.
Relationship with the educational community:
- Ensure the educational community's involvement in the school's management.
- Promote the Institutional Educational Plan (PEI).
- Promote teamwork among teachers.
Resource management:
- Coordinate and plan the appropriate use of material, audiovisual, and IT resources.
- Ensure that useful information is available for decision-making.
Student support:
- Provide support to the teacher in managing and developing the class.
- Identify the support needs of students with special educational needs (SEN).
Leadership and management:
- Advise management on strategic decision-making.
- Chair faculty meetings and/or technical meetings
- Serve as a liaison between administration and teachers.
- To promote the provision of a quality education based on standards of technical and pedagogical excellence.
