In a thrilling finale, our student-athlete Osvaldo Morales Correa from 8th Grade Class A took second place at the Provincial Games, held this Thursday at the Villa Alegre Municipal Gymnasium. The young athletes, representing various schools in the region, demonstrated their skill and determination in a series of closely contested matches that kept the audience on the edge of their seats.
The semifinal was the toughest match for our young prospect; despite trailing 0-2 in sets, she turned the match around and won 3-2, securing her spot in the final and qualifying for the Under-14 regional table tennis tournament.
